In the Summer 2010, Radios Populares held back to back weekend workshops on the basics of building your own radio station at Mess Hall. These trainings culminated in Rogers Park People's Radio - a Radio Next Door!
Attendees learned how to build antennas, install a transmitter, set up a web stream, and operate a simple console, which was then all put to use during the Glenwood Art Fest. Hundreds of people came through and shared in the excitement of having a radio station right next door!
